Someone once said "Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice".

Children of God, there is something very significant about voice .

When our Lord Jesus was about to begin His earthly Ministry the bible says;

"And a voice from heaven said, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased!”

Matthew 3:17.

For me,being involved in the work of God is not due to the bandwagon effect,neither is it about money or trying to be a wannabe;

It is simply because of the "Persistent Voice of God" (Romans 11:29)

The bible says in Isaiah 30:21;

"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying,"This is the way;walk in it."

For God to deliver the Israelites from Egypt He had to raise a voice for them in Moses;

"Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go to Pharaoh and say to him, 'This is what the LORD says:Let my people go, so that they may worship me". Exodus 8:1.

Mordecai & the Jews were to be wiped out in the land of Persia when Esther(a Jew) was the Queen.    Mordecai sent a message to Esther;

"If you keep silent at this time,relief and deliverance will come to the Jewish people from another place, but you and your father's family will be destroyed. Who knows, perhaps you have come to your royal position for such a time as this."  Esther 4:14.

Esther approached the King against all odds of being killed and she became a voice for the Jews.

Interestingly, many people always seek the voice of the high and mighty, whereas it was the voice of a butler whose name was not even mentioned that brought out Joseph from prison to appear before Pharaoh and eventually became a Prime minister.  Genesis 41:9-15.

In other words, God can use just anybody to be a voice needed for you to be lifted!

However, Hold on to this; whatever you do will speak (voice) for you to be known or make your voice to be heard in high places. 👌

Magicians and wise men had learnt their voices to Pharaoh, but only Joseph's voice was heard!

Prayer: God, raise a voice for me and give me a voice that will be heard & respected in high places in the name of Jesus.🙏

It is very important that you realize you are a prepared voice for many others.

How did I know this? God said to Jeremiah;

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart;I appointed you as a prophet to the nations." Jeremiah 1:5.

In like manner, Jesus said about Paul;

"This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel".  Acts 9:15.

It is usually said; " A closed mouth is a close destiny"

I beseech you therefore in the name of Jesus that you be a Voice for yourself,family, children, marriage, Church and for Nigeria in the place of prayer.

You also need to be a voice for the voiceless  Matthew 25:35-40.

Your wealth, titles and position are given by God in order for you to be a voice and a blessing for many others.

Don't keep quiet;

"Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves; ensure justice for those being crushed".

Proverbs 31:8

God has tied the liberation & the survival of many people to your voice,so use that voice otherwise God will replace you. 😩

In conclusion,

John the Baptist was “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: ‘Prepare the way of the Lord; make His paths straight.”

Isaiah 40:3.

He used his voice vigorously for the First Coming of Jesus.

Meanwhile, according to the bible; Jesus has to be preached to all nations before the end will come

Matthew 24:14

Are you prepared to be the voice proclaiming Jesus' Second Coming?

I pray for myself and for anyone who desires it; Lord Jesus,let me continue to be a voice who proclaims your name to all creation and to consistently creates the awareness of the reality of your Second Coming.🙏

Be that voice that matters, win Souls for God.

                                                               BE LIFTED!

The bible says;

"For promotion come neither from the east, nor from the west nor from the south.But God is the judge. He puts down one, and lifts up another". Psalm 75:6&7.

Children of God, the world we live in today is very cruel indeed and full of wickednees. Believe it or not some people's destinies have been confined to a spot, both in the spiritual realm and we also see it manifesting in the physical.

The good news is that the bible says; God is interested in lifting up those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. Job 5 :11

The story of

Mephibosheth who was the son of Jonathan and grandson of King Saul comes to mind. The bible makes us to understand that Mephibosheth was lame at both feet as a result of a fall when he was five years old. 2 Samuel 4:4

Mephibosheth's disability made things worse for him as he was forgotten for many years.

However, a time came when David decided he will show kindness to anyone remaining in the house of Saul for Jonathan's sake.

Eventually, Ziba, Saul's servant mentioned Mephibosheth's name to David and said;

"He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar."  2 Samuel 9:4

Brethren, out of curiosity I checked the meaning of "Lo Debar", lo and behold it means; No pasture! 😩

What a cruel world.

The grandson of a King became crippled due to the carelessness of a nanny, then they dumped him in Lo Debar, where there was no pasture! Hummmm;

"I have seen slaves on horses, and princes walking on the ground like slaves".

Ecclesiastes 10:7.

This is the work of the wicked people, but the bible says;

"(God) He lifts the poor from the dust and the needy from the garbage dump. He sets them among princes, placing them in seats of honor". 1 Samuel 2:8.

Eventually, King David gave an order to Ziba;

" You and your

15 sons and 20 servants will work for Mephibosheth. You will farm his land and bring in his crops, so that Saul's family and servants will have food. But Mephibosheth will always eat with me at my table."  2 Samuel 9:10

Consequently, a forgotten lame man who was confined to a spot in Lo Debar suddenly received a divine lifting which made him to have thirty six servants working for him and he was offered the privilege of eating on the king's table despite his disability.

I pray for you and for myself, may God lift you up that when you call one person, hundreds of people will answer you in Jesus name. 🙏

The Psalmist wrote: "I will lift up my eyes to the hills. Where does my help come from?"

Psalm 121:1.

Everyone of us needs the lifting of God in one way or the other.

For all those who are broken hearted due to financial crisis, medical reports, loss of loved ones, delay in marriage or delay in child bearing and all issues of life, I pray for you, the God who lifted up Hannah and gave her a new song will lift you up in Jesus name🙏.

1 Samuel 2:1-10

In revelation 4:1, John said;

"Then as I looked, I saw a door standing open in heaven, and the same voice I had heard before spoke to me like a trumpet blast. The voice said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must happen after this.”

The implication of the above verse is that there is a level one needs to attain spiritually in order to have access to deep things of this world.

In other words, God wants us to be lifted spiritually. Jesus said;

"And I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself.”

John 12:32.

I don't know about you, my case is different. When others are cast down, I shall say there is lifting up. (Job 22:29).

When God lifts you up, no man can pull you down.

However, one major prerequisite for divine lifting is humility. That's why the bible says;

"Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up" 🙏 James 4:10

I pray God will lift you up beyond your imaginations, expectations and limitations in Jesus name🙏.

Be lifted!

                                      RELEASED ON THE 4TH OF FEBRUARY 2020

                                              ARE YOU WITNESSING FOR JESUS?

Our Lord Jesus Christ gave us (believers) an hint of what will happen to us and of course what is expected of us when He said;

"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

Being a witness of Jesus is, telling people about what you know about Jesus having been following Him.

Few days ago, I was driving out of the Estate where I live and a lady waved me down for a lift. I stopped and picked her. As we were approaching the gate of the Estate, she indicated she will get down. Then, while parking the car I reached out for one of the tracts I had prepared for evangelism and handed it to her as I said;  "Jesus loves you"

Immediately, she smiled and said:

"I was going to tell you about my church but I decided to keep quiet".

Then I replied, "I was going to tell you about Jesus."

Soon after she dropped,I began to ponder on the words between myself and the lady.

Then, the Holy Spirit reminded me of the story of Philip.

The bible says;

"The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.” John 1:43

From the moment Philip met Jesus, he began to follow Him about.

The bible later says; "Philip found Nathaniel and told him, "We have found the One Moses wrote about in the Law (and so did the prophets): Jesus the son of Joseph, from Nazareth!" John 1:46

In a nutshell, Philip witnessed for Jesus by telling Nathaniel about Jesus.

Our primary mandate is to call people to Christ and not necessarily to Church. Romans 10:14

Someone can be in a "Church" and still not know Christ!

As someone rightly puts it;

"Many people grow up in the Church but never grow in Christ, they know hymns but do not know Him"

Although, the bible says we should not forsake the gathering of believers

(Hebrews 10:25) however, your pastor cannot save you, neither will your church attendance take you to heaven!

Jesus said;

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me".

John 14:6.

Unfortunately, "there are many wolves in shepherd clothing" whom instead of opening shrines decided to stay put in the Church deceiving their followers.

Every true Minister of the Gospel knows, it's all about Jesus! We ought not to put Church before Christ, it's like " putting the cart before the horse". For without Christ there won't be Church.

John the Beloved said;

"We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard,so that you also may have fellowship with us. And this fellowship of ours is with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ". 1 John 1:3

Truth be told, it is the desire and the self centredness of some people to make name for themselves and build a reputation for their Churches and Ministry that have turned things upside down.

That was exactly what happened concerning the Tower of Babel, when some people said to themselves;

"Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we may make a name for ourselves". Genesis 11.4

Their motive was not right before God, so He scattered them.

Brethren, do you witness for Jesus or you are witnessing for your pastor and the Church?

"For we do not proclaim ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake". 2 Corinthians 4:5.

Finally, you cannot give what you don't have. If you are going to witness for Jesus, you must be that person that have met Him, known Him and is following Him just like Philip.

I therefore use this medium to admonish you;

witness for Jesus,in the course of doing so you can tell people about the Church you belong to knowing fully well it's a Church where Jesus is being preached.

May all our works and labour for the work of God not be rejected in Jesus name. 🙏

                                 RELEASED ON THE 28TH OF JANUARY 2020

                                                     IT IS WRITTEN.....

Someone once said:

"a verbal contract isn't worth the paper it's written on".

In other words, enforcing a verbal agreement can be a huge challenge, it is usually easier and straightforward when there is a written agreement.

In the same vein,our Lord Jesus Christ showed us the reality of the power behind the written words when He used the phrase; "it is written" three times while satan tempted Him. Matthew 4:1-10.

Apparently, Jesus repeated the phrase in order to reiterate the supremacy and the validity of the words of God. After the third time the bible says;

"Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him".

Matthew 4:11.

It goes to show that even the devil recognizes the power behind the word of God.

Hebrews 4:12.

The question here is: how much of the written words of God do you proclaim into your life?

The words of God are enforceable.* We are expected to be using the words of God effectively in our daily lives.

"For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope".

Romans 15:4

Certainly, Jesus is the Word of God. (John 1:1) He went further to say;

"If you ask me anything in my name I will do it"

John 14:14.

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus everything should bow and every tongue should confess that Jesus is Lord.

Phillippians 2:9-11

To this end, I therefore invoke the written words of God over your life and mine;

For it is written;

"by His stripes we are healed". Isaiah 53:5.

Hence, sicknesses and diseases in our lives shall give way in Jesus name. 🙏

I also found it written in my bible that;

"You will succeed in whatever you choose to do, and light will shine on the road ahead of you".🙏 Job 22:28.

It is also written that;

"A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. I will only observe with my eyes and see the punishment of the wicked".

Psalm 91:7&8.

Brethren, I discovered it written that;

"When men are cast down, then I shall say, There is lifting up". Job 22:29.

It is clearly written;

"I will not die, but I will live and tell what the LORD has done". 🙏 Psalm 118:17

"No weapon that is fashioned against me shall succeed, and I shall refute every tongue that rises against me in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD and their vindication from me, declares the LORD.” 🙏 Isaiah 54:17.

It's highly important that you know this, it is written and confirmed that;

"Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near".

Revelations 1:3

Brothers and Sisters, these written words of God may not work for everybody.

Your affiliation with Jesus is very important.

God said to Abraham;

"I am God Almighty; walk before me faithfully and be blameless".

Genesis 17:1b

The Second Coming of our Lord Jesus is closer than ever before, repent now!

In conclusion, it is written;

"The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise".

Proverbs 11:30

Create time for soul winning from today.

Apostle Paul wrote;

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me".

Phillippians 4:13.

Having confidence in yourself and what you are capable of doing is very important in life.

Apparently, God has deposited unique gifts and talents in every individual.

However, many people are not aware of the gifts and qualities they possess, hence, they are only manifesting very little of the potentials in them.

Such was the case of a man called Gideon in the bible. Judges 6. He was an ordinary man on paper, but when God sent an angel to him , he was addressed as a " mighty man of valour".(bravery)

In the same vein, many of us are mighty men and women of valour that are yet to be revealed. It's just a matter of time the world will hear about us. .

Nobody knew about Gideon before God unleashed him against the midianites. Infact, Gideon

doubted his own ability to lead the Israelites in the battle against the midianites. He said to God;

“how can I save Israel? My clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my family.”

Judges 6:15

God had to reassure him of the hidden potentials he carried and more importantly, the presence of God upon him.

Little wonder, Gideon with only three hundred soldiers defeated One hundred and thirty five thousand midianites soldiers.

Judges 7&8

If only we realise the grace of God upon our lives we would have been doing more with our lives.

Lack of self belief have kept many people in the oblivion for too long. It is high time they got out from the shell and be more purpose driven.

Most successful people today are people that believed in their own qualities and did things in their own unique ways, carving out a niche for themselves in their chosen industry and vocation.

David would not have killed Goliath and become so famous, if he had succumbed to the rebuke of his eldest brother: Eliab.

1 Samuel 17:29-30

Truly, Eliab was the known soldier but David was an unknown warrior who was confident about the gifts of God upon his life even against the mighty looking Goliath at that time.

Apparently, there are many people around us today that are Eliab in nature.

As a result of the position they occupy they do not want another person to out shine them, hence they will do everything to undermine and kill the potentials of a rising star in you, however; they will not succeed in Jesus name.

I'm a paragraph. Click once to begin entering your own content. You can change my font, size, line height, color and more by highlighting part of me and selecting the options from the toolbar.

Please don't allow anybody to cage your destiny!

"For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity to indulge your flesh, but through love serve one another".

Galatians 5:13.

You do not need the approval of men to get things right. Respect everyone; young, old, rich , poor, influential, but fear God who alone is able to make you what you are destined to become in life.

God did not bring you to this world to seek approval of people. Believe in yourself and the power of God upon your life, which is capable of producing the unthinkable in your life and glorifying the name of Jesus.

Just as some of us have been approved by God to be entrusted with the Gospel, so we speak, not to please men, but to please God who tests our hearts.

1 Thessalonians 2:4

Therefore, let's stop putting the power of approval over our lives in other people's hand, shall we?

Start believing in yourself, be bold and courageous enough to utilize the gifts and talents of God upon you.

When you have Jesus, you are unstoppable. keep moving and keeping shining for Jesus.

The Almighty God will bless and prosper the works of our hands and the glory of the Lord shall be evident over our lives in Jesus name. .

This is what the LORD Almighty says: 'In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations, and what is desired by all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty.

Haggai 2:6&7

"In a little while" means very soon. it is usually used when something is about to happen.

When the time of the crucifixion of our Lord Jesus Christ was getting closer, He said to His disciples:

"In a little while you won’t see me anymore. But a little while after that, you will see me again.”

John 16:16.

Shortly after that pronouncement, everything happened according to the words of Jesus.

I don't know what your own expectations are, but the word of God is capable of bringing them to pass in a little while!

It does not matter how many times you have failed in the past, it doesn't matter what name people are calling you as a result of that situation, hear the word of God:

In a little while your story will change and your testimony will be the talk of the town in Jesus name.

When a pregnant woman is in labour, she goes through all sort of pain, but in a little while after, the pain turns to joy!

"After you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you in Jesus name". 1 Peter 5:10.

Definitely, this message is meant for someone. In a little while your mockers will turnaround to celebrate you in the name of Jesus.

Joseph suffered for many years. He was in the prison when Pharaoh sent for him to come to the palace and in a little while after he became the Prime Minister. All of that happened in a day! Genesis 41.

I say it to you again; in a little while the tables will turn for your upliftment, what has seemed impossible for you will become possible and you will sing a new song in the name of Jesus.

Trust God, in a little while that sickness will be a thing of the past in Jesus name.

The Mad man of Gadara was in a state of madness for many years until he met Jesus and in a little while thereafter he became an Evangelist; spreading the Good News of Jesus.

Luke 8:26-39

Our God has a way of compensating His children. As a result of the shame and disgrace of the past, in a little while the Lord Almighty will give you double and your joy will be full ( Isaiah 61:7) in the name of Jesus.

In conclusion,

whether you avert your mind to it or not, the time for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is closer than before!

For, “Yet a little while and the coming One will come and will not delay"

Hebrew 10:37.

Jesus is coming back soon. Therefore, get yourself prepared for Him.

Someone who "sits on the fence" is that person who maintains a neutral and non-committal stand about something.

Ideally, sitting on the fence is not a bad thing to do when it comes to personal issues pertaining to two people.

As someone rightly puts it:

"The first sign of stupidity is inheriting other people's enemies as a sign of loyalty".

However, when it comes to things that affect the vulnerable and things of God; please Don't sit on the fence!

As true believers, our Lord Jesus does not want us to sit on the fence. We are meant to stand for the truth and what is right. Jesus said;

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other!So, because you are lukewarm- neither hot or cold, I am about to spit you out of my mouth"

Revelation 3: 15&16

It's the most dangerous thing to be cast away from God.

Psalm 51:11.

Àlthough, Jesus sent the words of Revelation 3:15 & 16 to the Church in Laodecia. Similarly, there are many christians these days who are also lukewarm in their attitude to the work of God.

Lukewarm christians believe the message of the gospel, but are not meaningfully engaged in the work of God.

Your talents, gifts, energy and resources are meant for edification of the body of Christ and furtherance of the work of God.

"We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is in teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is to lead, do it diligently, if it is to show mercy do it cheerfully. Let love be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good.

Romans 12:6-9.

Apostle Paul also implores us not to sit on the fence when he said; "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness,but rather expose them".

Ephesians 5:11.

Evil is being perpetrated around you, yet

you kept quiet because it hasn't affected you yet.

That is hypocrisy.

According to Albert Einstein;

"The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it".

You are not called to be nominal (a figurehead) Christian, but a vibrant one; praying and doing exploits for Jesus.

Daniel 11:32b

More importantly, you cannot afford to sit on the fence concerning the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

Accept Jesus now before it's too late.

I charge you therefore;

"Learn to do good; Seek justice, rebuke the oppressor; defend the fatherless,plead for the widow.

Isaiah 1:17.

Don't sit on the fence!

Prayer : Father, cast me not away from your presence Lord, but help me to continue to be a useful vessel in your kingdom in Jesus name.

Glory be to God for the privilege given to us to see the beginning of the year 2020. For some of us it's another opportunity to make amends where necessary before God.

"For I have no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies," declares the Lord GOD. "Therefore, repent and live."

Ezekiel 18:32

As we venture into this new year, we are embarking on a journey that we have never gone before now.

The bible says in the book of Job chapter 36:19;

"Would your wealth or even all your mighty efforts sustain you so you would not be in distress?"

Realistically, every year comes with it's own challenges, battles,trials etc and no one is exempted.

That's why God said;

"When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you".

Isaiah 43:2.

Therefore,when any issue of life comes your way in the course of your journey with God this year, do not allow it to overwhelm you for Jesus had promised;

“My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

2 Corinthians 12:9

The grace of God is what will sustain us and allow us to wriggle through everything that comes our way in this year like never before.

"By strength shall no man prevail".

1 Samuel 2:9

For me; it has always been by the Grace! Permit me to use the words of Apostle Paul;

"But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain. On the contrary, I worked harder than any of them, though it was not I, but the grace of God that is with me".

1 Corinthians 15:10.

Your natural strength, your intellect, title,

human connection or strength alone cannot take you far in the journey of life.

For this new year we shall need a whole lot more of the Grace of God: JESUS

( Titus 2:11) to succeed and prevail.

"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength".

Phillippians 4:13.

May the Grace of our Lord Jesus be with us, sustain us and help us to accomplish greater things this year in Jesus name.

Happy New Year!

Prayer : Father, cast me not away from your presence Lord, but help me to continue to be a useful vessel in your kingdom in Jesus name.

Our Lord Jesus Christ made us to understand that there are certain things in this life that are far more important than others.

Jesus said to the Scribes and Pharisees; “you have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness."

Matthew 23:23.

Without any iota of doubt, Christmas is the most recognized and celebrated festival in the world and it's all about JESUS.

Former British Prime Minister, Winston Churchill said; "Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but also of reflection". I sincerely agree with him.

As we celebrate this Christmas, let's reflect and attend to those important matters we have neglected.

It will amount to injustice, hypocrisy and neglect if we fail to attend to the plight of the poor majority.

We are called to show love to God and to one another. Matthew 22:37-39.

God expects us to "Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute". Psalm 82:3

Apparently, most of our Churches are getting richer but the majority of the people that constitute the Church are living in abject poverty.

More than ever, the weightier matters are now being flaglantly neglected without any remorse.

Many people are in perpetual bondage,yet suffering in silence due to the increasing religious demands and nothing tangible is being done to ease the burden.

Matthew 23:4.

Deuteronomy 15;7-11 & Matthew 25:25-40 are very clear about our duty to the plight of the poor among us.

Come to think of it; all the riches of this world; mansions, private jets, luxury cars, clothing,titles including the mega church buildings will not matter when the trumpet sounds.

The things that will matter at the end is not going to be what we bought with money, neither will it be about what we got but rather what we shared.

Taking care of the Spiritual and physical needs of Souls and preparing them for the Second Coming of Jesus are the weightier masters now.

Matthew 28:19 & 20

I have written as inspired by the Holy Spirit of God.
